‘You are not Alone’ MKCDC Covid-19 Music Project

During Covid, Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre at Bradwell Abbey formed a large community music group, made up of schools, community choirs and the Milton Keynes Youth Orchestra. We facilitated music mindfulness workshops, discussion groups, and a film project with secondary school students. With the help of Cathal Smyth (Chas Smash from Madness), who donated the use of his beautiful song, 'You are not alone', and Joe Duddell, who orchestrated it, we filmed this lovely video connecting communities across the globe with love and light. Our thanks to everyone who participated, helped with logistics, and otherwise supported us. Funding from Bradwell Parish Council and the National Lottery Community Fund supplemented our own contribution, making this possible.
